Overview
I created a sofa inspired by Florence Knoll’s un-tufted “Relax” sofa as a personal project. This project aimed to enhance my skills in creating and texturing realistic models, while also focusing on presenting the finished model professionally through environment modelling and lighting.
Breakdown
I used high-poly cloth simulations to achieve the realistic creases and cushion shapes, which I then baked down onto a lower-poly model. To create the surface details, I used a combination of procedural texture nodes and PBR images.
